Measurement basis
Have the supplier describe how weight and dimensions are measured. Record stringing condition and grip wrap. Two values with different methods cannot establish a like-for-like result.
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements.
Specification review / CRE-SO-06
Use a controlled ledger to separate requested specifications, supplier statements and buyer approvals. A comparison is useful only when the same racket, quantity unit and delivery scope sit behind each price.
Request a specification review
Is the sample weight measured with strings and the final grip?
Copy the following fields into your buying brief. They are review prompts, not published specifications or a current quotation. Keep a supplier-stated value distinct from a buyer-approved value, and request clarification when the basis changes.
| Quote line | Record for each supplier | Approval question |
|---|---|---|
| Unit basis | Pieces or complete sets; strung or unstrung; frame and shaft material | Does every price cover the same construction and finished item? |
| Dimensions and weight | Overall length in cm, finished weight in g, grip circumference, stated string tension in lb | Which accessories are included in measurement, and what tolerance is proposed? |
| Packaging | Cover, sleeve and label; units per carton; carton dimensions and gross weight | Do pack ratio and retail presentation match the order brief? |
| Sample | Sample charge, artwork setup, courier scope and sample revision | Is the proposed sample the production configuration? |
| Lead time | Material, artwork and approval dependencies; production estimate | Which event starts the supplier's stated schedule? |
| Trade terms | Currency, price validity, freight scope, destination and stated exclusions | Are freight, duties, testing and service charges included or still open? |
Choose a budget basis before evaluating alternatives. A high-end preference can prioritize finish consistency or customization support; a budget preference may favor simpler artwork and protective bulk packs. Neither preference changes required acceptance checks. Compare complete-order cost rather than a low unit price with missing packaging.

Ask for the model, manufacturer and report revision behind an exact-item test evidence claim. A product-family standard is not exact-model certification; requirement applicability needs review for the actual intended US use.
Photograph or label the reference sample, approve artwork placement and define who signs off. A related frame sample may support material discussion but leaves production construction and packaging unresolved.
The sourcing service coordinates questions and document requests; it does not perform certification. Unknown specifications remain pending, proposed tolerance needs agreement, and a sample is not a guarantee of batch-wide performance.

Include quantities, US destination, timing and the fields that need confirmation. Our independent sourcing role keeps the comparison and approval responsibilities visible.
